I’m Mona Balgobin.

I’m a Guyanese-American self taught artist, born and raised in The Bronx, NY. Currently residing in Westchester, NY.  In regards to my art, my speciality includes working with molding paste, gold/silver leaf, acrylic paint and much more to create dynamic, textured meaningful abstract pieces. 

My art journey began as a self taught nail artist in middle school, using my creativity to raise funds for the National Children’s Cancer Society and other organizations. Fast forward several years later, i’ve developed my art to be shared with others by painting on stretched canvas, wooden panels, furniture, glass bottles, outdoor restaurant seating, walls, and many more!

Most recently, I've developed a Paint & Sip business to form stronger bonds with the community and get everyone's creative juices flowing. I've partnered with small and large businesses and venues to host creative events for all to enjoy. Most of my work can be seen on my Instagram and soon Youtube.

I hope to bring a sense of peace, wonder,
and freedom to you through my art.
